What is a Rally? What's an FRS Radio? What's a LeMans Start? Do I want to drive in the front/middle/back of the pack? How do I read a route sheet? What does PB4UGO mean?

If you are planning on joining PhillyMINI, joined PhillyMINI toward the end of last season, or you've been a member for a while but feel like you're missing out on some basics, this is the event for you!

We'll take you on a short rally where seasoned rallyers will be on hand to help you learn what you need to know. From using the radio to safely navigating the rallying road, this is your chance to ask any question you'd like in an informal rally and Q&A setting.

When: Saturday, April 6, 2019

Meet: 10 am

Start Location: Starbucks, Kennett Square [MAP]

879 E Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square, PA 19348

End Location: World of Beer [MAP]

102 Main Street #100, Exton, PA 19341

Rally Master: Heather Siessel

Cost:
There is no cost to attend the event if you are a member but you will have to pay for lunch. Cash always makes the process a little easier.

Notes:
Any attendee who does not have a valid 2019 membership will have to sign a liability waiver as part of the registration process.

You can fuel up at a Wawa near the start point. The rally starts at Starbucks, so you can grab a cup of coffee if you'd like!

What to bring:

  • An FRS radio, if you have one. We'll lend you one if you don't.
  • A navigator/co-driver, if you have one or want to bring one
  • Cash for lunch
  • At least 1/2 tank of gas
  • Questions and a sense of adventure
